jammer dat heel veel van die LOC recordings tot nu toe nog nooit officieel zijn uitgebracht.
ik vond nog 2 oudere:
Rudolf Thompson nam Juli 1933 "Tie-Tamping Chant"op in de State Penitentiary in Angola, LA
En K.C. Gallaway nam op 11 Juli 1933, samen met Tud Odum "Tie-Tamping Song" op in Wiergate, Texas (ook voor het Library Of Congress).
De Rochell Harris opname is dus 1 maand later dan deze 2.
PS die Sam (Old Dad) Ballard opname is van Juli 1934 en werd opgenomen in New Iberia, Louisiana.
